Yuki Nakashima

Yuki Nakashima studied health informatics at the University of Tokyo and worked on hospital data-interoperability projects with the National Institute of Public Health before joining the Institute in 2023. Her research asks how health-data systems reconcile clinical usefulness with patient-privacy protection under different regulatory regimes.

She contributes to a joint technology-and-health study on the governance of clinical data-sharing platforms and reviews the data-protection methodology for studies that link administrative and survey records across the two programmes.
